Displays a ready made page for a forum.

This shortcode will do everything that is needed to get you up and running. It has some options that you can use to tailor the output, but the real power is with the other forum shortcodes.

If you did the quick start, your new WordPress page will have this shortcode.

You will use forum slugs a lot when setting up forum pages, as you get more experienced in the range of WP Symposium Pro shortcodes available.

A very useful screen is the WPS Pro->Setup->Manage All Forums which gives you an overview of all forums, a quick way to change common values, and if you are using the Forum Security (part of the Extensions plugin), a way to alter the security settings. For example:

Provided in the Core Plugin.

You can use the global shortcode settings via WPS Pro->Shortcodes in the admin dashboard, or add them to the shortcode as options.

If you have a forum with a slug of my-forum, and you want to use the classic style, you would enter the shortcode as:

[wps-forum-page slug="my-forum" style="classic"]

The following (which shows default values and an example of using the shortcode option) can be set via the admin dashboard (WPS Pro->Shortcodes) or added as options to the shortcode in your WordPress page, post or widget.
