Displays a text area for adding an activity post.

This shortcode will dislay an area that a member can post something on to their activity, sometimes referred to as status, but can be anything they want.

There are extensions available to enhance the basic operation.

However, in its basic form, it provides a text box area that members can type into, and add to their activity:

After clicking on Add Post, the page refreshes, and the activity will appear.

By default, all friends of this user will also see the activity post on their profile page (although you can add extra security options with the Extensions Plugin).

Provided in the Core Plugin.

You can use the global shortcode settings via WPS Pro->Shortcodes in the admin dashboard, or add them to the shortcode as options.

The following (which shows default values and an example of using the shortcode option) can be set via the admin dashboard (WPS Pro->Shortcodes) or added as options to the shortcode in your WordPress page, post or widget.
